You want to top during the veg. stage. Wait until you have about 4 nodes. Make sure you will still have some good leaves left after you top.

Never. If you bend the top of the plant so that it becomes the lowest point on that plant instead of the highest, the plant will branch quite well - and without removing material from the plant.

thanks for the advice. i grow in a small space and have had trouble with my plants getting to big. i have no exp with lst so i will be topping her. thanks again.
