I would suggest not too as HPS is used mostly for flowering due to the fact of the spectrum it puts out makes the plant stretch A LOT . It is possible to use HPS just keep it very close to the plant to contain its stretching and a fan over the top of ur plant to make sure the light doesnt burn the plant
May I ask why r u using 2x 100w , why not 1 250W?
The real way to go about it is to start out with MH for the veggie stage and then switch to HPS for flowering. Get 1 250W MH and 1 250W HPS u will have a very good lighting setup for 1 plant.
Thank for your answer!
Umm, i dont want to buy a transformer for the bulb. I dont have money to buy bulbs, and where i live are very expensive.
10 inches and 2 pc cooling fans are okay? And the 2 bulbs should be above the plant or beside the plant?
Some people use only HPS, however usually it's for folks who have very short vegetative periods. If you're vegging for longer then 2 weeks I would invest in the MH.
