Dampening off

ive got a new grow happening, but have a problem id like to avoid in the future.
dropped crop kings trainwreck, and dutch passions starryders.
treated them as I always do, however the starryders got about an inch tall, and dropped over? from what ive researched, they dampened off. no roots so to speak.

I germed them, they had about 3/4 inch tail before they went into the coco......the trainwrecks are taking right off.......however both starryders are now gone.

any ideas from the pros on what I did wrong?

Probably nothing Brewer...seems the starryders are susceptible to damping off.Cleanliness and sterilization usually help with damping off, so does a product called "no damp" if your worried for next time. Try wiping down your equipment with a mild bleach solution or alcohol, washing your hands and sterilizing your seeding medium by baking it in the oven for a 1/2hr,that'll get them starryders to grow, good luck:thumb:
