CONCORD, New Hampshire – The 158th Legislature faces 1,187 bills in 2003, as of the last filing deadline. One of the many highlights include:

Rep. Derek Owen, D-Hopkinton, has refiled a bill to authorize the production of industrial hemp. Similar bills have been rejected in the past after the law enforcement community lobbied against them.
