2x2 Grow Tent

Got a small closet 2x2 tent going with a couple seeds I found in some good smoke. Starting this journal late as it’s on day 8 of flower. Started out using a 600w bestva blurpul light then added a philizon 1000w qb, about 250 actual watts between the both. Using 3gal basic square pots. Temps with lights on 77-82, RH-40%. Lights off 74-77, RH-55%. Using cheap advanced organic soil with add 1/3 earth warm castings, perlite. Added a couple cap fulls of bone meal, blood meal, bat guano, sprinkled some rooters mycorrhizae, basic stuff I could get real quick. Using pure Alaska kelp, superthrive, supergian, voodoo juice, epsom salt and warm casting tea to fed every other watering. Last watering which was 4/12 was distilled water mixed with rain water at got a pH of 6.7 (didn’t have to touch it) and ppm-20. Run off was 6.6 on both left an right. Left had 550ppm run off an right had 350ppm. Added a self watering drip system but have to add a couple more drippers on each pot to spread water even. The stretch is in full force right now doing my best to keep it under control. Right is 100% female hairs on few branches now. Left is worrisome I see one branch with hairs then other with ball sack almost, but still to hard to tell. Took clones Friday, good thing I took from mostly right one, got a couple good ones before it was to late into flowering.

Thanks been having to train every day to keep height under control. Will be watering them in a couple hours when lights come on. I’ll get updated pic of how they bounced back from training yesterday.

Thanks for checking it out. Should of put a top net too but hopefully good training will keep them in order. Lmao that aloe is coming in handy with this civic-19. If u can find some alcohol then u got hand sanitizer. Half and half mix is what I use an it works great. Almost all Home Depot, Lowe’s and Walmart have them right now lol

Day 9 flower,

looking pretty droopy this morning, finished installing other drippers. took 50min to get run off with a steady constant drip on each corner. the left plant I think is hermi, has hairs on one branch then looks like a ball forming on another. today feeding in 2gallons had 6 pumps of Dr. Earth, 4tsp kelp, 4ml voodoo, 1.5tsp Epsom salt,1tbs jungle juice bloom part A&B and 3tsp pH UP to get pH-6.4 and 650ppm. run off on right had 6.2pH and 900ppm, left had 6.2pH and 1350ppm. soil is pretty hot, I know run off in soil can be tricky but I think with the slow watering its a good reading.

Well today I took out the left one, it was a male/hermi sucks because tent was looking beautiful. Roots on it was looking good tho. This one has plenty of light at least an I should be fine on height now. Hope she is nice n plentiful.

Looking great definitely a shame on the hermie. Probably has happened to most of us, good eye finding it early on.

Thanks for checking it out burdok, if u go 2x2 make sure u have good ventilation, hard to keep below 80. I have a 4” 195cfm exhaust fan with a good 10” square fan on inside..thing is great it pushes the air around amazing. I’m hoping she will fill out a lil more before stretch stops. Under growth is doing great for now.
No signs of roots on clones yet, been a week today, the one in root riot plug is wilting pretty bad idk if it’s going to make it. All the others but 2 are starting to yellow on leaves, 2 of them are nice an green still hopefully one will take. Water temp been around 75, RH-80%,80-83F inside. Changed water today an added 2 drops of super thrive to water, ph 5.6 ppm-50. I took the clones about 1 week into 12/12 flip so expecting it to take a lil longer but how long does it usually take? And should I take the dome off?

Anyway plant is looking good overall man, regarding the clones I wouldn't recommend removing the dome however you could add some mycorrhiza on the roots and maintain high humidity could help them a lot.

I used some cheap rooters mycorrhiza inside a small fabric bag that I stuck under the air stones. We’ll see if it helps.

Good news 2 out of 7 clones have tiny roots, the 1 I put in rooting plug died..was WAY to wet. I put it in a plastic shot glass with holes in bottom thinking it would keep it moist bet it kept it soaking wet so it died off. Picked up a cell phone magnifier, thing is awesome for anyone looking for something little more then magnifying glass that’s not to expensive I recommend this little thing. So me an old lady germinated some sunflower seeds an I put a time lapse on it them for a few days. The things look like there dancing lol pretty cool. Couple other pics with new magnifier.

Day 14

Filling in nice, little better then I thought. 4 of 6 clones rooted an put into soil. Other 2 I put into root riot plug to give one more shot. Coming along nice happy with it so far.

Day 18, 75-80F, 40%rh

Looking good, stretch has finally slowed down hoping it stops I literally have 2” maybe that the light can go up, I should of put another net up when I took out the male but oh well. There’s little pop corn nugs all over. Haven’t been able to check run off on water this week so this weekend I’ll find out how the soil is doing. I keep feeding with same nutes at around 600ppm. Last run off I was able to check I water with 300ppm an run off was like 1000 so keeping it lil low going in. Clones are starting to take off, Not much else besides that.
