43 day plant - 1.5 inch tall?

its my first grow ever, and i know i have made many mistakes in the past 40 or so days. however i can not understand how two of the same genetics (Dark Angel -Crop King) seeds can turn out so differently. both seeds were planted around december 1st and the one is only an inch tall, while the other has almost filled a 2 gal bucket with her rootball and has taken well to topping and lst.. Has anyone seen anything like this before (could it have been recovering from transplant shock for 25 days???) a 43 day old plant hardly an inch tall working on its 4th node? im pretty confused at this point, but i guess i can assume she's resilient.

Any thoughts OGs?

Welcome andyb91. She is a small one isn't she, I would drop her down from the light a bit and let her stretch as the leaves are not getting any bigger where she is and see what happens. One other thing is to let her dry out completely and let those roots go searching for moisture to the bottom of pot
This may help or it may not, it doesn't hurt to try, only my 2 cents.
Cheers

I have one of those ..lower right corner of pic..hard to believe they were all planted at the same time..it just started to get going this week..I let it totally dry out and she's growing like a weed now..ha ha

I experienced the same type of thing with my Dark Angels. Planted 3 and one has been ultra slow throughout the past two months, while the other two have grown great. It never showed any signs of deficiencies and always looks healthy, but just doesn't grow much.

I'm a newbie and this is my first grow, so I have no clue as to why this happened.

Any pics? I love seeing the variations that plants can throw out.

Here are some photos.
This is Charlie...the runt...at about a month old.

The next few are of how they look now. I switched Charlie to Flower much earlier just because she was being such a biatch...haha. She's been on flower mode for 5.5 weeks. Bravo has been on flower for 2.5 weeks.

Charlie is on the right in these two and Bravo in the middle. Left is my main-line project Alpha
While Charlie doesn't look THAT much different, she has also been in flower much longer and has almost zero bud action.
