i want to grow out doors in alaska . the growing season is short 3 months or less ,and ive got 24 hrs of day light .what are the best plants the grow in a colder climits does anyone have any ideas for me
Unless u want the work/hassle of the blackout tarp, not to mention how big a plant can get under our sun, I'd say autos fit the bill nicely. When u say 24 hours of sun I assume u are further north than the matsu valley.
I want to try some autos this year but cringe at the cost per bean. The fact that they stay small sure makes hiding them easier, u can't dig a pit to conceal at 12 foot plant, but devils club will hide a bunch of 18" autos.
Or what I see is:
crossing an auto with a local strain that's quick, using the sts/feminized tech.
getting the 2nd round of seeds all female/auto for cheap
