All mulch there

From my understanding it's not a good medium for cannabis but i haven't tried it first hand so i won't say it doesn't work cause i don't know it's just not prefered. Why not pick up some soil or soil less mix or make your own? A simple medium would be coco and perlite which would be treated like soil but with growth rates closer to hydro.

The older it is, the better it'll work. If it's been sitting out in your yard breaking down for a couple years, then you can probably grow in it, but I doubt it'll work very well in freshly mulched wood. The fresh wood chips will just soak up all your nitrogen and the plant won't get any.
 
I pretty sure it's old but I just planted a new plant which is grape ape I do believe.planted with a different areas of mulch so Ima see which is better I'll have pics and updated setup

I have grape ape on the left and raspberry gum on right in there updated setup. Can anyone tell me when would be a good time to start fertilizer a bbc.co d what would be a good cheap one to use?
