Budrot removed, now need advice

Hi all,

I was a week to harvest and I was checking the girls daily. After a very humid day and night I saw,as described, botrytis on 2 buds-each on a separate plant, and removed what I could see. That night I pulled them and hung the sweet smelling plants to dry. I checked the leaves and buds as best as I could, but for some newbie reason :scratchinghead:I left the fan leaves, and now while pruning I see that some of the buds underneath are very amber in color, and smell funky. With no other obvious sign of disease, are they safe to smoke, or cook with?

Thanks for your advice! :Namaste:

Cut it out definitely and clean the buds.
