Bulb help

Hello, I recently acquired a brand new 400w Phillips MH 39,000 lumen. I currently have a 400w Apollo MH with a few runs on it. My question Is would it be worth it to switch out bulbs being the brand is Phillips or should I continue to use the Apollo

All bulbs have a different run time. The longer a bulb is used the less powerful it is. It is recommended every 3 grows to change your light but that also depends on the duration at which your running it. If your running 12/12 from start to finish you will get a bit more life out of it as opposed to a 18/6 or 20/4 cycle. That being said if your finding good growth from the light you have currently running you could finish it off for this grow and switch up for the next.

Growth is slow compared to my 600w dimmed down to 50%. I just thought because it wasn't technically a "grow light" I'd be messing up
