Or gram per kilowatt hour (including extraction fan, circulation fan, humidifier etc.) to measure efficiency of used electricity, catogorized by medium: soil, coco, hydro etc. and nutes: organic or mineral.


Then you can add cost of medium and nutes and get a pretty precise g/$.

On my last grow (organic, soil) I paid $2,32 per gram (and electricity is quite expensive here ($0,31 per kWh)) vs. $10,14 per gram average street price.
I paid ~$1500 for my setup and got 201,3g neatly trimmed bud, so the money I saved paid for the setup on the first grow it was used, and the smoke is smoother, stronger and more tasty than the average street bud, which isn't half bad around here.

After I crunched the numbers it became ever more apparent that I've been a fool not starting to grow 10 years ago..

Hung 1750 wet from three white widow plants on Monday. All Auto's from 420 used 1000w DE open bulb, in DWC. New to this site so haven't figured out how to post pics or anything yet. I will try and figure it out tonight and hopefully get some pics in. Love reading from all of you and have used many a tip. I am def. more of a lurker, as I am a newb to growing and would rather keep my mouth shut and learn than pretend like I know it all. Got the final dry weight in last night after a 10 day dry (think i dried it too much?) anyway it came it at 334 for three plants. After all the things I put these plants through I am over joyed I was able to get anything! Just thought i would check in with the final weight.

Sweet. I would take almost 12 zips any day. Just a little under 20% of your wet weight.

I think it would be interesting if people posted the final height when harvesting. That is another stat that the breeders seem to exaggerate about.

Here's a pic of my ladie in pink..lol..only 3 weeks into flower..look at the first pic that is the biggest bud I got..and what weird is it is the very bottom branch,but from where I lst the ship out of it I used every branch

56 days 12/12 4.5 lb from 3x600w hps ,my own strain skunky lemon haze in organic soil ammended with volcanic rock dust, compost ,brewed manure healthy bacteria water in, seasol, gogo juice and plenty of unsulphered blackstrap molasses
