Here is the situation, I have made cannabutter twice now. The first time when I broke up the bud I failed to grind it into a powder, I just kind of broke it up like u would if u were gonna smoke. This time I grinded it up in a coffee grinder and it was a fine powder.
My real question, what I'm not clear on. The first time when I strained the butter the waste bud was still a lil green. This time it was brown, my assumption is that the less green the more THC has cooked out and into the butter. Does anyone have any insite on that? If so, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks folks.
