Clone, with a bonus?!

So...I found myself at a friend-of-a-friend-of-a-friend's house and was given a freshly planted clone! This was on June 1st. I watched the guy clip it, dip it in rooting powder and put it into soil. I've had it under a cfl bulb and it seems to be doing well. *knocks on wood* However, I just noticed that off to the side, another very slender, round-leafed little shoot has emerged! (I'm calling it Tonto!) My question is should I leave Tonto there? Has anyone seen or experienced this?

Thanks, Buckshot! I don't want any invaders disrupting my new baby, but since I am curious I transplanted the clone and separated Tonto into his own little cup and put him outside. I really appreciate your feedback...thanks again, and stay safe!
