Coco Loco Usage

New grow. First grow. In a closet (that is inside a closet), 27" square and 8 feet tall. 240W QBs.
I've obtained fabric pots (10 x 10, and 12 x 12, square). Also have two bags of Coco Loco and a sack of perlite.
Should I rinse the Coco Loco? I've read a lot of coco coir reviews, and many stress the need to do this. However, Coco Loco boosts additives. I don't want to rinse away anything worthwhile.
My clones will be delivered to me in dirt. They are reportedly "softball" sized (the best description I could get). Any advice on transplanting? Oldbear gave me some guidance, which I appreciate. Just a few things that I don't know are:
Do I need/should I use a rooting compound?
Can they go into straight to their final pots?
Should I use the 10 x 10 or 12 x 12 pots (I have/will have both available)?
Should I use 50/50 (coco/petite), or 70/30?
Anything I'm missing?
How should I handle the transplant? They've been under T5s for about 5 or 6 weeks. I don't know the strain, but they are NOT autoflowering.
BTW, I have Canna A & B and General Hydroponics CaliMagic coming today. Also PH up/down kit.
Still need to order meters/monitoring equipment, though I have the pH kit coming, and a thermometer/hygrometer. What else do I need?
Thanks for the spoonfeeding!
Don
