Does your chewing gum

I prefer to get a quick burn, so like my reef a little on the dry side. I keep my 'current' loosely covered with one bottle inverted over another. This is kept on a tray with other items, lighter, scale, grinder, etc. The tray is Pyrex and has a snap on lid.

When I pull the top, there is a strong waft of pot smell. Am I losing any potency in this?

Not potency but terpenes which play a vital role in how the thc interacts with our bodies. It may not make a huge difference, especially in the short term, but I always keep my stash sealed.
