Drying and cure

Let's say I dry a plant for 4 days(and its ready because of its small size) in a closet at 80f to 86f with a humidifier at 65%, followed by jarring it up and throwing in a humidipak when I see it 65% or below.

Now I have a larger plant right next to the first one, twice it's size. Let's say I pull it out of closet after 7 days because it seems ready (lower Buds snap easily), then I jar those buds up and go about my routine to cap it off with humidipak when 65% or lower.

Will there be any differences in having only a 3 or 4 day dry followed by jar cure VS a 7 or more day dry? Or is the purpose of the dry ONLY to get it down to the cure zone (60 - 65%) to then be jarred up and cured.

Probably not

The cure seems the most important to me
Density, taste, smell all grow and expand in the cure

I mean drying is important but not the deal maker like cure
