Ethos ChemD Auto Outdoor Experiment

So here we are outside on the first official experimental grow. I’ll be experimenting with soil in ground for auto flowering strains in particular.

It might have been done before. Because I’m sure my brain is not the only one to come up with this. But it’s a first for me and if this works. I’ll be doing this outdoors for all autos.


What I’m doing?

The pic below will show better detail. But I’ll be layering in from 7 gal to 3 gal to solo cup to starter plug of different levels of feed. Starting off with nothing moving on to more and more until full grown. I’ll post a pic each day. Until harvest. Should be about 90 days from sprout. I hope this works well as my other auto is yielding great. But could be much more but due to a late frost. I had a 1 week stint in growth. Let me know what you think.

Of coarse bill. This should be an easy thread, just getting a grasp of autoflowers. So this technique will be as new to me using it. So anything that happens is 100% new info to me. Kinda excited to grow a giant auto lol. I wanna raise the bar

Day 1 no sprout


Thought I’d post the sisters. 2 separate plants. One in a container is very frosty. But the one in ground is a better yield.

Day 2 no sprout


It’s been warm and so have the nights. So I’m thinks anywhere from 3-5 days to pip. Her sister took over a week to sprout. So I’m not in a hurry. It was also end of February beginning of March when I planted that as well. Solo cup transplanted into the ground. Grow dots as the only feed. This is around a 10 gallon hole. Filled in layers of what I think the auto will want to feed on during different stages of growth. And I’m basically using her sister as a template to when she’ll be hungry and for what.

This could be a legit reason for me to run autos all year outdoors if this works exceptionally. And it seems to me that autos are not heavy feeders. At all. So. I might have this nailed. If not. I lost a seed and I will try again. A different method. Haha

Day 5. Yesterday was sprout day.

I have been super lost in time. Had to go the er. Nerve doc. And get dental shit all at once. Talking about hitting the fan. Well at least everything is okay. Let’s see how big I can get this gal before she transitions.

Clones reveg finally going thru. Thankgooodness. So this project will kick off smooth. Purchased AN sensi bloom a and b for the coco flowering ladies.


Transplanted purple Tahoe, fritterdawg 1, big smooth, and Afghan kush outdoors last night. They’re off on a good start. And comparing coco seedings vs my Promix seedling. Which is more productive. Faster. Idk. Just a fun experiment looking for my male fritterdawg.

2x4 is still going well. Plans still the same. Filling it with white wedding and garlic. The amnesia will be flowered in the 4x4 after the gsc bd and ah harvest

White wedding will dominate this tent however. I wanna stock up on that for sure

If you are growing White Wedding by Ethos expect a very good yield and very good tasting results !! was a little confused many say NOT to top auto's -don't know if that's is true (No experience with autos') but it really doesn't matter "auto's" will Switch from veg to flower no matter what type of light cycle because it's the gene's of autos' Here is the Auto grow cycle: vegation stage weeks 1-3 then weeks 4-10 flower (consider putting an auto in with your 18/6 cycle and grow them out just like them 18/6 to 12/12 - You will get a small harvest with the auto a month before your others finish !! one can do anything you want to autos (top, ect) but no matter what flower starts at week4

Sorry guys. Remember iv been living this dental nightmare the last 2 months. It’s almost over. The hardest part is done. 7 teeth yanked. All awake. Anyways.

Updates will be much more regular as not having a toothache I can tolerate looking at the screen now. Hard to explain


She’s a dirty little booger from wind. But she’s not slowing down in growth I think she’ll get bigger than her sister did. I hope anyways. The smoke is not bad. Very sedating and sleepy. Idk if I fucked up and left it on to long. But. Whatever. Maybe that’s how it’s supposed to be.

Scent is diesel/gas. No doubt. Very chem like. Taste like shit imo. But smoke smooth
