Fan leaves dieing off,will i have to harvest early? please help?

ok so she's lookin good,on her 6th week of flowering,most of the fan leaves have died off quickly and there arent many left,a few at the top but thats about it,also on just about every single bud has a few red hairs on it so could i be near the end already?? but since the fan leaves are dieing off quickly,if any of the other important leaves start to die soon will i have to harvest early? this is my first grow so i dont rly know exactly what to do at this point.any additional info is greatly appriciated thanks!!

Alright dude that plant don't look bad at all not perfect but not bad when you say 6 week flower is that from change to 12 12 or when you first saw flower formation (little white hairs) what nutes are you using and are you in soil and what is your ph of feed oh and what size lights

im using 4 26watt cfl's,and i changed to 12/12 quite early,around week 4 from seed.

Your only problem is not enough light the plant is shedding the leaves it don't need get some more 2700k red spectrum cfl then keep doing what your doing

Honestly I wouldnt worry about adding light just focus on getting the top bud fatter. remove some of the lower stuff down low and leave a nice lollipopped bud on top. The plant might benefit from a light feeding of some sort. I would use some sort of micro product and a carb. but really would not want to feed this late in the game if your in soil.

totally cool shottafire,but not all the hairs are completely red,so you think ill have to harvest a bit early? if so,whats to come of an early harvest?

Why early harvest those buds will plump out and mature further if you just let them do there thing. I would try and get a scope to check the trichomes to get an idea of where you are in the grow.

That's exactly why I asked if it was 6 weeks from flip or 6 week of actual flowering because if it's from the flip then that makes around 4 flower and personally I thinkworth aadding a bit more light

I don't mean when you planted it my friend when you change your light to 12 12 the plant doesn't start to flower right away it can take a couple of weeks till you get pistols so is it 6 weeks from when you saw white hairs or from when you changed to 12 12

ok well seein that pistils are signs of flowering,6 weeks of "flowering" idk how else to explain it to you,i said i was a newbie not stupid. Lol started 12/12 on week 4 (from seed) and it started flowering around week 5 (from seed),that better?

its all good dude,just sayin. Lol but yeah i dont have the fanciest set up,i just wanted to see what i could do and what it took,my next time around ill do a little investing,maybe in a small tent,basic nutrients and such,but for now im kinda freeballin ya dig??

yeah its turned out better than i ever thought it be,its definately taller than i expected,this grow was never about getting "the best shit" or like a fat harvest,i just wanted to see what would come of what i had,the seed was from some pretty good dank atleast. Lol can you guestimate how much i may get out of her? i have no expectations,just curious.

I would say 7-10 grams and if you do add more light just focus on the top portion of the plant and remove a few of the lower sucker branches to focus more energy to the top of your plant. I will say this as well for a newbie to grow a plant and do as good as you have done I would be really happy. most people even some of the veterans end up with a reallly dark green plants at 6 weeks, granted you dont want a brown plant Your tree will be a smooth treat for you. Its better your yellow than overdone if you get what I am trying to say.

yeah i might actually do that shotta,i know that when the hairs start turning red that means the buds are done swelling and they're getting denser,but the thing is is that theres only a few reds on the cola but on a couple of the smaller lower ones have almost all red hairs,that sounds backwards to me. Lol cause like i figured aince the cola is closer to the light it would finish first,am i crazy?? Lol

I was just going to say I would be surprised if you got less than 7 .get yourself a 60x scope 3 quid on eBay so you can check the trichs for harvest

Dont sweat it it could be that there is not enough light getting to them or something. It would be safe to say that you could go another two weeks. Keep us posted and maybe another round of photos in a few days.

indeed i will,i think im gonna go out and grab like a jewelers loupe or something so i can get a better idea of where im at. but about those lower buds,will i have to chop those off before i harvest the crown? cause at this rate those are gonna be done before the crown.
