First Grow, Downward Curling Leaves

Hey all,

I am 2 weeks into a grow and all seems to be going relatively well.

However for sometime now I've noticed downward curling leaves on my plant and wanted to know if this looks normal or if this is some symptom of other issue at play.

Please see pics and give your thoughts

(Note: Just for reference the first two leaves that sprout after the solar panels)

Welcome to the forum!
Is the seedling 2 weeks from germination? You may have plugged it into the netpot too early and the roots are suffering, a safer way to go is let the seedling grow in the rockwool for its first 2 weeks. Either drip or dunk feeding until the roots are well established then plug it into the netpot.

It's still alive so give it some time to recover, and yes the water level should be below the rockwool, they're soaking up the water.

At the start of this week I introduced nutrients and put in about 1/3 of recommended dose. So that would have been when seedling was 1 week old.

Try dropping the water level an inch from the bottom of the netpot if you are going leave it in there and go 1/4 strength nutes for the time being, rockwool can be tricky the first time, honestly it's also mine but the general practice is to not plug them into the netpot until after 2 weeks.

Yes and @Kismet said, air, hence the bubble action, instead of sitting in the water, do you have your ph and ppm/ec pens ready for the grow?

Yeah I have PH / PPM pens. Although my PPM recently died due to water lol you would think they'd waterproof an item whose usecase is to be dipped in water. I have dropped the water levels and I have bubbles hitting 1 root that's made it through the getting , there are about 10 smaller roots at the bottom of the Rockwool though. I'm doing a full nute change tomorrow so I will take your advice and go 1/4 strength. Awesome community vibes guys! Lovin' it
