Hey there folks ! this is my first grow, i got these seeds from a friend who is not sure about the strain but according to him he has grown good bud from it. So i thought i should give it a try. I started these 4 plants indoors but two of them were moved outdoors in their second week due to space issue. These babies were popped out of soil on 22nd Oct so they are 4 weeks old now but the indoor plants are growing very slow so i might need to veg them for a little longer before switching to 12/12. I am sure i need more light as this is not enough, i am going to upgrade to a 300Watts LED light within a few days. But in the meanwhile I would like to bring PH down to 6 from 7 but i dont have access to PH up/down solution where i live, so what do you guys think about baking soda or apple cider vinegar to use as a PH down, is it a good idea or should i go for something else ? I also need to buy a PPM meter yet to check run-off / salt buildup or nutrient lockout. I gave them a little bit if chicken manure as a mulch in week 2 but they got minor nute burn so i scraped off all the manure from the top and flushed for a week or two. In fourth week i gave them diluted bat guano tea. But i guess the major cause of slow growth is cheap lighting because one of the outdoor plant has a fair growth rate and the other has stunted growth they are all same age. The bigger one (outdoors) is showing preflowers since its under 12/12 for two weeks. There are alot of balls coming out from nodes but I see a little white hair coming out from only one ball at 5th node the rest of them have no hairs so i guess its a male (or hermaphrodite), please have a look, identify the sex and confirm if i am wrong. As with the indoor plants, until i get a new light, i would love to have any tips and suggestions to improve their growth rate. Peace.
