First Indoor Grow - Soil & DWC Bucket - Super Silver Haze - Jack Herer - Bag Seed

Looking good. I am envious of your genetics, I wish I could get my hands on some JH

I love me some Jack Herer. It's such a recognizable smell and taste. By far my favorite smoke of all times. The crazy smelling part of your brain basically makes my genitalia quiver with delight when I open a bag of it. :passitleft:

What size is that tent frenchy

4x4 and it's a super tight fit in my closet, but I love the space. i only have about 2 inches on top and [2in] on the front zipper part of my tent. :thumb: well worth it though...still need to get a fan and filter. for now I can deal with the smell and the temps aren't that bad. I put a box fan in there with the vents open it stays about 50-80% RH and between 70-80 F

Here's the JH...getting real nice looking. need to bend it down again.

SSH is bushier than the JH in soil. It also got topped..it pretty much gave me 4 rather than 2, cause the bottom 2 grew to the height of the tops making 4!

Here's twisty. I'm using the power cables to train it lol

Here's Tiny getting bigger

I moved my original box and will put the veg ones back in there shortly. I plan on flowering the bag seeds soon, just to get them out of the way :people

Here's the JH...just defol'd a lil bit. Should pop more pistils within this week. [hopefully] :passitleft:

I opened up my tent this morning....had 96% RH  yeaa, I need a fan/filter badly. I understood it'd be hard to exchange air without them but damn, didn't think it'd get this far out of control. my temps/rH never got this bad in my diy box or even my metal veg cab...and that metal cab gets baddd...like 80rh/80F...just feels like I'm walking in the rainforest....anyways, here's the update:

pretty sure my clone rooted. took 6 days, I will wait to see roots to absolutely confirm, but top growth is coming along...[left is new / right is when it was planted]

Did a 1/2 strength feeding tonight on the veg cab. I have been dealing with fungus gnats because of the crazy high humidity, although I didn't water since transplant which was over a week ago.....so they got their first feed since then....I'm probably going to throw tiny and twisty into flower soon, since they're not really worth growing out in my books, they were there for first time experimentation..

there's a few different techniques...the best rule of thumb to make sure you aren't over watering....let them get dry.....dry dry so all larva wont live. then get Yellow sticky pads for the larger adults so they don't lay more eggs. you can also put a layer of sand or vermiculite on top to kill/prevent laying of eggs. easiest and least energy is prolly vermiculite, but even then make sure you watch your watering

Here's the Jack Herer finally starting to throw pistils...not everywhere but it's starting...I'm going to say for an indicia dominate strain it is a very light feeder...seem to be getting spots on the edges of the leaves [top and bottom leaves] and the leaves seem to have a bit claw going on and I've never gone above 2/3 strength [never over 700ppm....recommended for veg is 1100 and flower is 1400.] I only do 2 gallons out of 3.75, of nutes, then top off with distilled. but burn [if it is burn] is very minimal and won't hurt her too much

I put twisty in flower....I'll prolly put tiny in there shortly too, the more room for SSH and JH the better! the [JH] clone is doing okay too, looking nice and bright green from new growth.

is there any way to do the opposite of topping? rather than trying to get the plant to focus energy on the internodes, is there a way to help it focus on shooting up? mainly for my JH in soil...the lower internodes [soon to be tops] are growing faster/better than the top of the plant, which I would like to grow more.....ideas? should I cut back on the LST? would that have to be the start?

Set the light height really high right from the beginning and it will grow very tall to try to reach for it... Seems to work well for me... Seems to work in veg and in the stretch of flower...

I'm running out of room, height wise, and she's short and bushy...this is going to be fun to figure out. I'm going to have to keep rigging shorter and shorter lines..humidity is getting out of control at night again, up to 84 last night :tokin:

Res Change today...perked up so quick after the change..literally less than 5 minutes. she musta been taking a big gulp.

Here's one leaf that I took off that was showing some deficiency...seems more like calcium spots on this one then the burnt edges that are more prominent

Loving the smell, it's still not super pungent but very nice and subtle still. :passitleft:
