Doing an indoor grow and looking for some feedback on the set up and questions.
Beans: Nirvanas Bubbleicious Auto. Fem.
(If anyone has grown these before, feedback is wanted! Tips, yield, etc..)
Plan on popping four. (Should I be fine on space?)
Tent - Gorilla Grow Lite - 2 x 2.5 x 5'7
Light - 250w hps system, air cooled
Fan: 4' inline filter>duct>fan>duct>light>duct out.... ive heard due to negative pressure its better to push the air through the light rather than suck it past?
Filter: coconut carbon filter (anyone know how well these work?)
I really need to keep the smell to a minimum and am concerned it might not be enough. When the plants are flowering I was debating running the end of the duct into the bottom of another container with a homemade screen rigged with carbon sitting on top (not sure what kind) air pushing past and a little fan pulling it out. Any comments on that would be appreciated.
Any other smell covering tricks or comments are welcomed.
Soil: Fox farms ocean forest and light warrior seed starter.
Aiming to do half and half. Was going to to put more ffof on the bottom, then a mix, then more light warrior on top around the seed.
Since autos do better planted right in their main bucket I was hoping this would be a good move.
Buckets: Five gallon bucks with drain holes drilled. Lava rock on the bottom inch or two to promote drainage.
Going to get water prepared and ph'd to around 6.5 and water the buckets and soil and let sit for a day or two under the light to warm up. (Then test water that drains)
(Watering bucket: air stone to oxygenate and dechlorinate. Any comments on boiling water to use?)
Germination: 12 hours in a cup of water, then planted right into the main pot, cling-film over top of the buckets until they sprout.
1-2 weeks water
2-4 week veg nutes
week 3 start molasses
week 5 bloom nutes
flush the last couple of weeks
(not sure what im going to buy yet nute wise, open for suggestions and comments)
Growing method, not sure. Any one who has grown the strain before tips would be appreciated. I want to see how these ladies deal with and grow up before having a preconceived notion, Just general ideas of what I would like to do.
That is the main set up, sorry for the novel and the disorganization. I would love any feedback on ANYTHING!
