Help identifying the problem with my two RQS Solomatic CBD

Hi All,

I'm starting to think I have a serious problem with these two Solomatic CBD from RQS.

I'm not an experienced grower at all, but long story short:

I planted 2 x RQS Royal Haze outdoor on the balcony. Everything is going very well so far and they're quite thriving (on my standard). My first post/check about them with all the infos is here: Click here

After two weeks, I planted 2x solomatic cbd. Very same enviroment, very same attitude and watering... ok, it has been quite rainy, but not that much. During the most violent rain i also brought them all inside to protect.

I just gave them 1 x nitrogen boosting nutrient, half dose, 1 time.

Now they are exactly three weeks from sprouting and they are very small, looking sick, and one of them yesterday also lost two of the main leaves!! You can easily identify that from the pictures.

Pics are mixed from the two solomatic, taken today, at 21days from sprouting. Just to give an idea, i've also put a pic of the RQS Royal Haze at +2 week, that is 35 days from sprouting, that looks good to me (there is some damage on the leaves but i think it's due to wind and rain).

Any idea about what i'm doing wrong? I would really like to have also a low thx / high cbd type of harvest, so i also bought RQS purplematic now, as i've read some bad reviews about the genetic itself of the solomatic... many cases in which they remain really really little. But i'm more inclined to think it's because i'm not good at growing... :)

Any feedback or suggestion would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

I would say severely overwatered.
Did you see a nitro deficiency?

You might read the Watering properly thread in my signature.

Thanks for the quick feedback... much appreciated.

I've already read and appreciated the thread you mentioned some weeks ago, and followed when i watered the first two... these two have been indeed exposed to some rain in the last 10 days or so (not everyday, but often). This may be the case, even if they felt quite small and "weak" from the beginning.

Regarding the nitro deficiency, i just gave 1/2 dose of nitro booster because it was the only nutrient i had at the time so i went for that. But for all plants i'm not giving nutrients since several days because they're already wet from the rain and i don't want to water them more...

thanks!

A quick update on this on day 30 from sprouting.

One is dead, or almost dead, or dying, despite all my efforts to keep them alive by reducing watering/nutrients and giving the best enviroment possible.

The other isn't dead, but it's growing very slowly and moreover... the shape... does not look very "normal" or "healty" to me... any idea or advice?

Note that enviroment and caring were exactly the same of these other two (click), that are actually thriving (or at least going really better). Only the genetics is different, RQS royal haze auto for the two going great, and RQS solomatic for these two unfortunate...

Thanks :)
