Hot pepper spray for mites

I'm 5 weeks into flower and I found spider mites, will a hot pepper spray hurt my buds!!!???? What are your remedies thanks

Good question. Think I hurt my trichomes when I sprayed with soap and a touch of alcohol : (

I still have white pistols and buds are getting big so I just don t want to kill everything this late in the game

That's where I was too! A week or two away from harvest. I have seen posts on safe alternatives but can't remember product or quantities.

Go to the grow room and search spider mites. There are quite a few conversations there

One cup cooking oil mixed with 2 tablespoons regular NON antibacterial dish soap
Mix 8 teaspoons of mix and a half tsp (3ml) iso rubbing alcohol into a quart spayer of water
Shake vigorously every few seconds while foliar spraying, poor man's green cleaner...

Interesting, in landscaping we did the same. ivory dish soap and alcohol without the red pepper...
