How to prevent mold behind my "room inside a room" grow room

I'm building a room in the corner of my basement. The 2 walls that I'm using have some water damage. I'm building an entire room out of osb and priming/painting both sides of the osb with kilz/matte paint before constructing the walls.

My question is do I need to do anything to the concrete basement walls before I put osb over them to prevent mold from growing in between?

Not an experienced grower, but from my construction experience I'd answer yes. They make concrete sealers designed to control moisture seepage that can be rolled on just like paint.

Yeah, I would say it would be wise to clean them. I would give the walls (and don't forget the ceiling) a scrub down with bleach or a cleaning solution designed for mold/mildew. Concrete is also somewhat porous, but it probably won't give you any issues.
