How to water a seedling in a large starting container with a Nutty twist

:cheesygrinsmiley:
Here is another way without having to read too much :nerd-with-glasses: CHEAP AND CHEERFUL

use a bottomless pot , add an old pipe , few holes , line bottom of pot with light mix , line around the bottomless pot with hot mix , fill pipe with light mix , water like you would a small pot , there is a flap where i can check roots at bottom , once see them you can water slower in a circle around the hotter mix to break the soil in , makes flushing ten time quicker and more easy
handy for autos :cheesygrinsmiley:

Cool, love a good MacGyver hack!

update , one in the net pot is having a little (p) deficiency , this tells me the middle nutes have been used its time to water the full pots , other than that its working out well . this is a better set up for coco as soil can be water only for most of the seedling and veg stage

using the 1 litre bottomless pot drives the nutes through the middle of the pot not soaking the whole medium , i can get a better run off without building salts around the plant , so if i use a bottomless one litre if i put 1 litre or more through i know ive rinsed the unused OUT and got plenty of run off , feed to waste
I am also driving the roots to the bottom , once i have achieved this i can cut the bottomless pot away and water in full

Done , gone to 36 hours DARK , goodbye lol :ganjamon:

I broke a third of the one in the first pic banana blaze , but she turned out great . cant complain , second plant is blue diesel was a home made soilless medium that id never tried before , so good results all round that cost pennies , water only for most of the grow

They sure did:drool:

I am reminded a little each day that passes that I am a gardener who has a thing for cannabis rather than a harvester who switches gears to an indoor grow. I would love to start some seeds, but I have 10 months of indoor weather and no plan... seems I should smoke, cook or do something with my harvest rather than start the grow cycle, bet I have enough in jars and shake to learn about the next phase.
Still doesn't make yours less fat and awesome :battingeyelashes:
