Hydro Grow Problems

So I found out that the nutrient/deficiency issues I was dealing with were indeed caused by root rot and since this is my first hydro grow, I decided to try to save the plants with some babying as best I could and take them through harvest as a learning experience.

Well here I am getting pretty close to harvest and something just hit me. Up until now, I assumed that this was just trichomes but now I am getting a bit paranoid. Can you guys tell me if this looks like mold vs trichomes?

Looks like trichs to me.

Watch out for sugar leaves suddenly turning brown. Where they attach to the stem will be mushy - that’s mold. And Powder mildew rubs off the leaves.

oh no…. don’t smoke that…. could be really bad shite. Yeah complete the harvest, box that up and ship it to me and I will destroy the evidence in a series of small fires…..

Also, doing the dump as suggested. Does adding hydrogaurd change the PPM values? I guess I can just do it last so that I know what PPM the nutrients are.

No, Hydroguard doesn't change PPM.
