Lighting To Augment Budget Red Spec

I'm going to augment my Budget Red Spec 500 watt LED 3000K with some blue end. I've got one 400W adjustable HID, and can get another HID ballast for $70 for the cheapest option. I figure I can run the 800 watts 6500K MH, with 20% power or so on the LED for veg, and do 400 watts (200 watts each) HPS plus 100% of the 500 watt LED for bloom. Any other cheap suggestions? This is over a 4X4 foot SCROG and heat is rarely a problem.

I got a cheapo LED with separate red and blue switches to add on to my Quantum fixtures
Not sure what if any help it will provide
I set the Reds to come on 15 minutes before the main lights come on and stay on 15 minutes after the main lights go out
During the middle of the day, I'll switch from red to Blue
Mostly this is experimentation and I have the light hanging vertical, trying to hit the sides of the plants

So 900-1300w combined light over a 4x4 scrog? Sounds like overkill, I run a 4x4 flower tent with just the series 3+ 500w and am more than happy with the results so far.

HID watts and LED watts are apples and oranges. I have been running a 1000 Watt DE on super lumens, or 1100 watts or so. Sativas like light and I am about to do Dr Grinspoon.
