I say get a Potato ricer & wrap teh mix in cheese cloth, get it warm enough & squeese it out to the last drop.
I just LOVE the one I just got!

Just found this thread. I agree that the MB machine grinds the stuff up too fine and causes a mess. And I think the colored lights are hokey. Buying it was my husband's idea; I prefer a stockpot and colander.

I use a clean man's hankey and potato ricer. Works well for me.

Anybody gave any suggestions?
We love our MB2, it works great, but it grinds the bud so fine that when it's done it's cycle the mixture is like a thin paste and it is very difficult to strain through the bag.
Has anybody come up with a good way to strain this stuff?
We are ready to go back to the slow cooker method.

I've used panty hose or a fine mesh bag with pretty good results

I have never messed with the bag, I always use cheese cloth layered a few times and squeeze the heck out of it to drain every last drop of my tintures.

The bag just seems like it would be a mess to clean and I assume would stay sticky. The bag is supposedly dish washer safe. There is no way I am putting that in the dishwasher; the wife would never let me hear the end of it.
