Hoping to get some advice, or at least confirmation that I am doing this right.
So I was referred to a specialist as I have had several back fusions in the past and he prescribed MM. All new to me. I went through CannMed and did their thing. Sent them my prescription and their form a few days ago.
But from what I have read, this can take a long time to process?? Also, insurance doesn't cover it and I am thinking it will cost a fortune! Kinda tough when you are on disability.
I was hoping I could find some way to try it before I committed to large amounts or even going through the process but I wouldn't know the first place to even find "samples" lol!
Anyway, thoughts appreciated!!

Hi GH.
You won't be getting any "samples" from the LCP's and they don't sell a gram or 2 at a time unfortunately. The process can take a couple of weeks but that's about it, not to long.

Not really looking for samples. I've just never tried it before and my first month will cost around 300-450. Big chance to take.

So I see a doctor on sept 9 to get my mmj. But I'm having a hard time chooseing one of the LP. Right now I'm thinking tilray or maybe medreleaf. Which ones do you guys choose?

I picked Mettrum, and so far I am not very pleased. The quality seems to be there in the medicine they produce, but they can't seem to maintain any stock. Very disappointed, and unfortunately I've had to go back to black market for my meds.

That's what I read on another site. Yesterday I got a call from the doctor who was sposed to prescribe me cannabis , they said as of last week they stoped prescribing it. So I've sent my papers off to MMS I chose tilray, they just released 2 new strains today and 2 last week. Right now there is only 4 LP accepting new patients, seems like a lot of them are dry. I'll let everyone know how it goes with MMS.

I'm pretty new to this whole scene, but I might as well let you know how mine went. First off, I've never even smoked weed - minus some experimenting in highschool. All, super new to me but I'm currently accepted for Medical use.
My family doctor wouldn't sign the paperwork, but I was given a referral letter/a print out of my medications from the pharmacy and all that useful stuff to go find someone. I found MMS services, they hooked me up. Mind you, I was a bit sketched out by them at first but they're great but not that fantastic.
I filed the paperwork out at the very end of August, mailed it to them, did everything they had asked including giving them the added information because it all helps - they weren't friendly at all but that's fine. They didn't inform me my cost, they set me up with someone, within 2 weeks I met with the doctor on Skype, we did our thing he was fantastic. He perscribed what I needed, recommended things since I'm a scrublord with this sort of thing, and put me on my trial (he's checking up on me when needed which I found sort of nice since he doesn't technically "Have" to.) and yeah.
The experience of who I received was great, MMS was "okay" but they're not friendly/organized. They charged me 450 (I'm from Ontario and near them) so I don't know why I was charged a ton but yeah. They add you, they randomly charge your credit card and then remove you on Skype once the process is done.
I went with Tilray. After I spoke to my doctor on Skype, I was approved from Tilray within 2 days and I'm currently waiting for the delivery already! Pretty simple.

I would stay away from MMS, very rude and acted like i was a pain when i called for more info..the cost was 407$!! i sent my app in Aug 30, didnt hear anything back till sept 17..Saw a doctor on skype yesterday (22nd), i was approved and heard from tilray today, made my first order and its already been shipped!. On September 16 a FREE clinic opened up in St Catharines Ontario, Canadian Cannabis Clinics | First entirely fee-free medical marijuana clinic to open in South Western Ontario i was approved for 3g/day was only given a 6 month prescription, meet with the doctor again at 5 months to check up i guess, the 6 month appointment is free of charge, but after one year you need a renewal..

Congrats on getting your prescription Pembro.
Sorry you had a not so pleasant experience with MMS, they were fine with me. As long as you now have your prescription, and can medicate freely without worry, its worth it in my opinion.

Yeah. The guy that I spoke to from MMS was incredibly rude as well. I mean, I'm thankful I got my prescription and everything - but the guy was super awful. I didn't even ask for more questions or anything like that. My paperwork was completely fine, however, they needed more documentation about my special medical problem. I emailed the guy my doctors letter, a print out of all my things, and a referral form. Anything you could have asked for, I did and then some. The guy was massively, massively rude and abrupt with me. I couldn't get over it. He cut me off on the phone, he didn't want to even listen, he was just a dick really. Mine was also 400+. I think he just charges more to ones he's a dick with or something because I'm also from Ontario.
None the less - anyone who DOES need a prescription - you will get one. Although, we've both had a hassle/rude experience. But our experiences shouldn't stop you from getting something you need.

I got my prescription a little while back through Skype, everyone thought I was crazy but I didn't have any problems. I have since sent over about a dozen people and we have all had a great experience. The staff were friendly and fast. My one buddy said he had a delivery to his door within 10 days of contacting them, which I thought was crazy. Anyways. these guys are legit and from what people are posting here they are way cheaper too: Bodystream

The doctor at Bodystream was a pretty cool guy. He explained that everything is confidential. He asked me if I was already using because he likes to know how much, how often, and what I find works for me. He doesn't care either way, so its best to be honest.
