Metal Halide Bulb

I bought a Metal Halide lamp for my veg room, 250Watt, with a Hps/MH ballast. It turns on alright, the color is ok as well, but the light doesnt seem, how can I say this... "Even", or seems to vibrate a little bit, like blinking but not much. Is this normal? Thanks in advance!

I think i read somewhere they have a 100 hour break in period, I always thought it had something to do with the gas inside the bulb. does it straighten out after it has been on for a while??

It migh have been that! Or what ever else, since It went off, and back on today and its fine! Thanks for the advice bro, have an Irie day!

My bulbs will do that when they first come on. After about two minutes they seem to even out. Diming my ballast causes the same effect. I just figured that's the way they are.
