New member - Soaking info hoping to grow somthing soon

So quick question....i read a few posts about how close to put a MH lamp to seedlings....it is a little disturbing when people just post graphs and scientific information......mabey some people are just looking for a answer on how close the light can be and not deal with graphs and stuff of this nature......ya im new and mabey im wrong. Really though a 400w MH how close should it be to seedlings

I agree lots of info....sadly im just looking for a straight answer like i said....everyone goes science or graphs or just too much info lol....oh well ill figure it out as i go i guess

I have heard a lot that it should be 12".

Thanks bonza....i posted on the grow forums too see what comes out.....i think i have it close to the 12 inch range....thanks much for the reply though
