Newbie needing help

Hi guys I'm looking for some advice as to what's wrong with my 3 week old jack herrer auto. This is my first time growing in soil so not sure what I've done wrong. I'm growing in a smallish 0.8x0.8x1.6m tent with 600 hps light in a cool tube with Temps at 25c lights on and 18c lights off. I also have a blue cheese auto in there which doesn't seem to be suffering with same issues. They haven't been fed yet just a light watering as soil said it contains nutes for first 4 weeks. The growth is also stunted as the blue cheese is a week younger and has caught up to the Jack in size. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance.

The way I learned it is the fringes on the edges of leaves are used to keep the leaves cool they turn up when she and turn down when too cold condition it prefers

My Temps where high when I started about 29-30c which I have now got down a bit. My lights about 8 inch away and I can actually touch the light without burning my hand. There is also signs off that on the blue cheese leaf edges but not the discolouration

18c is actually pretty cold. I have my thermostat kick on when my grow room goes below 21... which assures the plants never get colder than 20... especially when they are young like that. I think its combo of getting to cold at night with lights too close during day... If I had to guess. That hps is powerful... how far do you have it from the top of your plant?

Wow sorry didn't see the 8 inches away bit... That is WAAAAAY to close for an hps on a seedling!!! you need to be AT LEAST 18 inches away buddy! Also get a space heater for those low temps at night if you don't want to pay to heat the whole room.

Each plant is like an individual person they all prefer different things I can keep perfect conditions for almost all my plants but I have one strain that does not like the rest of the conditions I have the following white Bubba Kush pre 98 Bubba Kush BC big bud and DJ Short Blueberry I cannot keep conditions right or blueberry when I make it cold enough for the blueberry plant my other plant start to react badly and vice versa

Thanks for replying. I've just raised lights a bit. I should of said my lights actually running at 400w not 600w I bought a dimmable digital ballast to reduce heat.
