Yes, you will grow lil nugs there. They are bud sites
If you crop the top all those sites will grow out into branches giving you a short bushy plant.

Hello
I just read these responses, they are 15" now , are you saying if I chop the top of the ones I want to keep short they will grow outwards more instead of upwards?
I only managed to move them into bigger pots about 1 week ago, will this course me any issues, they seem to be growing quite quickly from what I can see day to day.

Just leafs from what i can see & they have not shown sex yet !
Topping cause's auxin displacement from the main apical dominate stem which cause's the lateral growth development aka more bush & ye it helps curb stretch a little when put into flowering.
It is also method used in super cropping
