Nitrogen for storage?

Hey saw a thread at another forum on using nitrogen gas to store buds for long periods of time. Hadn't heard of this method before, has anyone else? Or had experience with it?

Apparently the buds are stored in vacuum bags, with the air somehow being sucked out and replaced by nitrogen gas. This removes any trace of O2 which could cause oxidative damage to the buds..which then stops any potential breakdown of the THC, if I'm understanding it right.

Sounds good in theory...but where the hell do you get nitrogen gas from?

It's more common now as many tire centers offer nitrogen replacement over standard air as it is proven to increase mpg. It's been used in food mfg for years too. Not sure where to look for it, and I know I'll never need it. My stuff isn't around long enough usually to justify long-term storage protocols.
