Pineapple Chunk-X curing

I have picked 1 bud off of my plant so that i can dry it and cure it to see the standard of the high (baring in mind plant still growing) ...... My bud smelt very strong of tropical fruity, juicey, pineapple and since it has dried it has lost an awful lot of smell ....... i have cut the buds off the stem and put them in a glass jar with a rubber seal ...... is it better to cure in a dark and cold place or a dark and warm place?..... thanks =)

i normally cure in Kilner glass jars for small personal amounts or Wham plactic food storage boxes for large amounts in a dark place at about 68 to 72f
