Think,got it growing upside down! I am wondering to get a pair tweezersput it right side up? Or maybe it will just come up the way it's supposed too! It's a week old bye the way! Thanks
the bit that comes out of the seed is called the tap root..this is what digs down...the actual seed wants to climb upwards and should split open and fall off leaving leaves.
please stop playing with it...light will kill the root and so will physical contact with hands and metal e.t.c. tamp the soil around that tap root and let it be =D
DO NOT overwater!!!!! damping off is our most common cause of seedling death.
