Seedling Day 1?

If counting, when do you start counting vegetative growth days? Last Saturday a new grow was started and the seeds were put up to germinate. Today marks 1 week. I want to call today, (pic) day 1. A few are small. This is when I usually start counting. Is it too early? Thanks

Day 1 veg is when it gets it's first serrated edge leaves. Day one of flower is when it gets 2 pair of hairs at the nodes. Hight is from "soil" to base of tallest leaf. Those 3 things cause the most miscommunication.
