from what i've read the size of the pot can effect the grow of the plant, correct? too small will limit growth right. but how big is too big?i know most people use about 5 or 6 gallon buckets for pots but going a bit bigger equals bigger plant?. is bigger better when it comes to this or does too big also limit growth.

I have long heard 1 gallon per foot of growth. I would think that feeding would influence this but pretty much agree that bigger is better. Unrestricted vertical root growth very early in MJ's life has been said to favor females. And I would try to keep all plants (not just MJ) from becoming root-bound.

And besides, I have seen some plants that looked like trees when they got to be 20+' tall - and actual trees too, come to think of it lol - growing in the biggest pot of all, the ground.
