Two autoflowers- Diesel Berry & Cherry Bomb
Germ- paper towel method (6.0ph) water. 2 days, then plant straight into soil. Carefully, about a cm deep.
Lighting- each plant will have a 150w sun system hps self ballast light
Medium- Fox farm ocean forest floor(no extra perlite mixed in)
Size pot- 5 gallon smart pots
Light cycle- 18/6 throughout. Last 3 days will be in 24hr darkness
Nutrients- General hydroponics line. Liquid koolbloom for flower.
Water- individual gallons of distilled water
PH- my ph is always kept between 5.8 and 6.2
Feed cycle- I water a using plain distilled water at proper ph level for the first 3 weeks. When plants start to flower (usually around day 25-30) I switch to a very light feeding. About 1/8 of reccomended dose. Water about every 4 days. Gradually increasing nutrients each week but I never exceed half strength, throughout the entire grow.
Fan- one 12" Honeywell fan pointed at light hoods(keeps them very cool. One small oscillating fan blowing on the plants. Also on 18/6 timed cycle.
Room temp- 76 degrees
I would like to add, this is just a small simple set up on a coffee table in a spare room. The 150w light seems to work pretty well for one plant. I keep both under one light until they start to flower. Then each plant gets their own light. I do have a led grow in a 4x4 tent I will be starting in a few weeks. I have been growing autoflowers for nearly 8 years now. Diesel Berry has been my fav strain so far. I order my seeds through attitude. Always has turned out great.
