Tap root upside down

I just terminated my seeds in jiffy pods under a humorist dome and it’s seems as though the first sprout is upside down. Is this even possible? I can provide a photo tomorrow. The sprout is just a little white tail straight up.

Yea get us a pic tomorrow. Sometimes the taproot will come up towards top but once it sees light it will turn back down.

Just transplanted the whole thing. Hopefully it will retreat when the lights going. I could see the seed and I probably could have easily moved it in place but this was a throw a way from the start so any progress is good st this point

So likely the result of too shallow of planting in a dense medium. I do not prefer that medium myself. But at least she started right?

Imagine what happens in nature when seeds drop to the ground. Is it likely that cannabis or any other plant has evolved to require such specificity for its seeds to sprout. Nope. Such old wive's tales abound w/o a shred of evidence.
