Day 89
Flower Day 19

Pulled out a jeweler's loupe just for fun.

Day 99
Flower Day 29

Everything seems to be going well enough! We're finishing up the first month of flower and we've got a ton of really cool trichomes (my favorite.)

My only concern is what appears to be increasing amounts of brown spots on lower and mid leaves. My first intuition is thinking of nutrient lockout, so I'm doing a flush for a few days to be safe... but what do you think? Check the first photo:

Also -- the other thing I think it may be is light stress. I did move the light ever so slightly closer a few days ago, but it wasn't outside of the appropriate lux rating when I measured it. I do have a COB though, so I know it's fairly intense, and I heard lux meters aren't the greatest at measuring LEDs. Keep in mind this is all just stuff I've heard from all over the place... I'm just brainstorming. Either way, I moved the light back up to the highest point it can go.

Don’t be alarmed. The plant is sucking all the nutrients out of the old fan leaves. As it no longer needs it in those areas, but more where it counts. The colas. I’d bump up the cal mag a bit (after your flushing of course) and proceed :thumb:

Flower Day 41

SOS

I'm losing the girls a little faster than I'd like. Symptoms are no longer at the bottom/middle areas of the plants. Not sure if I have a nutrient lockout, light burn, or a calcium deficiency. I'm honestly not sure how much more cal-mag to add... I'm adding a bit more than the suggested amount on the bottle. Should I double that?

Here's what I'm using:
Botanicare HGC732110 Cal-Mag Plus Calcium Magnesium & Iron Plant Supplement, Quart Botanicare HGC732110 Cal-Mag Plus Calcium Magnesium & Iron Plant Supplement, Quart

Here are a few (sad) photos of the affected areas.

Day 115
Flower Day 45

Thanks for the advice as always, @Backlipslide. I gave them all a good flush, and I've increased their Cal-Mag by about 60%. They aren't looking great, but it does seem like further lockout progression has slowed pretty significantly. I backed off of all nutes about a week (and a half)? ago.

As I approach the end of flower for these girls, I still struggle to know when to do the chop.

On (suspected) Sour OG, the pistils on the top have mostly turned in, but there are still larfy buds near the bottom that are mostly white. Should I go by the buds on top or wait for lower bud pistils to turn in as well? Going by the pistils on top, I feel like it's practically ready. This was a bagseed, so I really don't know what the time to flower is. According to the internet, it can be anywhere from 7 to 10 weeks if it truly is Sour OG, and I'm pretty sure it is. If that's true, the harvest window opens in 4 days.

Hi everyone! Sorry for the delay in posting. Harvest has been completed for a couple of weeks, and curing is in progress. We've snuck a few buds out of the curing process for "scientific testing purposes," and Dark Angel definitely results in that couchlock high. I'd say that the grow was successful! I'm excited to get into hydro in a couple of weeks. I have a Current Culture UC4 and I'm currently building a room to put it in.

Thanks to everyone, especially backlip, for all of the advice. I've learned so much, and I legit can't wait to learn more with my first foray into hydro.
