The one thing people forget about HPS lights

no worries my friend I am sure you do well for your needs :)

and for the watts used the 17 oz is just fine and if your happy I am also

I am not scoffing at anything just a friend bust as i read in many place the 2 1/2 3 grams a watt thing

I do not sell my smoke I just grow for me and the wife

would never try that as you know what works the best for you

it appears I do not eh?

I have never worried about burning down anything but I know some have

I am looking to build some 4 foot LED strips over shelves to do Sea of Greens still not getting

the driver thing figured out

looking at these

probably use 4 or 6 strips over each shelf for a total of 4 shelves

just trying to find the best driver to run them or two drivers

all the best and be safe

Atrium has some 4ft kits that include drivers. Cost about the same as sourcing everything yourself. That said, I have a DIY strip light using Bridgelux 3500k strips. Built it before all these other options were available. Works amazing veg and bloom. I've hit 3g per watt with 3 autos in a 32"x32" space.

I hear ya, and if it works for you, Awesome!
I loved my HPS before I went to LED, and I've only recently found LED's that are worth 2 shits.
But now I could never be convinced to go back, even in a commercial setting. LED's are getting too cheap and efficient, and HID's have sort of stayed the same for years.
Best of luck to you in your grows, it sounds like you do pretty well.

Check out our sponsors when you decide to get light strips to replace those!
