I wish, I wish, I wish.
I wish I could grow sticky buds like that.
I'm saving up for a decent light and the xs1000 or the xs1500 would be awesome.

Hello growers, I will be running my 7th grow with LED lights, my first with LEDs. @ViparSpectra was gracious to provide XS1000 lighting for my homegrown grow cabinet. I’m engineering the change from my other light and need a few things to light things up. I should launch a new viparspectra sponsored grow by Sunday night football. I grow organic soil and tend to bring out full

terps, fat buds and nice fall colors. Im looking forward to the grow, a fast high yield auto hybrid from my own hermie seeds. I’ve grown these seeds before, so willl be some good learning. A couple pics from my third grow, CMXL auto to get things started. Also a shot of the switch to LED. Cheers

Your planting technique is very good, thanks for your support. I like your pictures :circle-of-love:

Thank you @ViparSpectra for sponsoring my first LED grow. My Grow#7 journal was launched this week, link in my signature. I will definitely learn some new things growing with LEDs. Plants are @Sweet Seeds Apolo CMXL Auto 2nd gen from my grow cabinet. Everyone loves CMXL. I grow organic soil…the best flavor and terps in my opinion. Grow link js my signature. Cheers

Day 14 from sprout, end of week 2. Pots are heavy since deep water/nutes 3 days ago. Temp 73F, ranging 66-73 and RH 48%, ranging 48-62. Growth is picking up now out of the first week seedling stage and one week into veg. Stems are thickening up, LST will start sometime next week. I’m aiming for 8 primary bud sites for each. Otherwise on autopilot for a few days until pots are light. Pics from today.

Day 21 from sprout, end of Week 3 (5-Nov) plants watered and fed 1/2 gallon each two days ago, should have done one day earlier…some light wilt in the AM, not ideal for the little ones. It is a fine balance watering upfront starting auto seedlings in 5 gallon pots. The pots were still heavy 2 days ago, but long tap roots weren’t yet established deep enough. All good, full recovery and big growth spurt in 2 days. Time to LST…looks promising to train to 8 bud sites each, including the main. I’m clearly behind on LST, mains will be gently bent tomorrow. The new alternative soil test is impressive so far. This is a double test grow, recognizing there may be pheno differences from seed as always. New @ViparSpectra XS1000 LED lights and two organic soil types…my mix vs ready + I add organic silica. These seeds are self pollinated from just a couple nanners my last CMXL Auto grow… love finding a few viable seeds in any grow, a sweet bonus. Would these seeds be considered a backcross? I don’t have much knowledge in the breeding science. I do know self pollinated females will produce female seeds…again, a bonus. The front left plant looks maybe like the only sativa leaner…we will see. The smell already is powerful just this week…a great sign. The front right girl and probably the others are pre-flowering…look closely. The other 3 are definitely fat indica forward with ridiculous leaf width. Temps and humidity steady as usual. The LED lights are impressive so far. Pics from today. Cheers

LST going well, plants are loving the twins, two XS1000s side by side. These plants are some stout beasts but they will train into at least 8 primary bud sites. I need some secondary growth to form the branch positions. A healthy dose of organic silica promotes strong stem growth. A couple recent shots. Cheers

Long time no see, how about your plants now?
I will do another update tomorrow in my current journal, link in signature. Maintenance trim, water and flower nutes tomorrow. A couple shots from yesterday, transitioning to full flower. The Viparspectra XS1000 Twins are doing great. I will add some epson salts tomorrow to get in front of a mag deficiency.

Trimmed buds on all 4 plants New Year’s Day (day 78 from sprout) after an 8-day slow dry at 64F and 64-62% RH. All were jarred separately for final burp/cure over the next week or so until all are at 58-60 RH. I calibrated 4 mini hygrometers overnight in a sealed container with a couple Boveda packs. I’m happy to report the bud quality is excellent, frosty, sticky and firm, even the popcorn buds. The smell is citrus, fruit and skunk, very smelly and all completely covered in long red hairs. These were S1 CMXL Auto seeds from a prior grow, not sure if that contributed to these being so squat, but they are also very chunky. I’m estimating final yield will be 4 to 5 ounces cured. Hygrometers in 3 jars at 64% RH after overnight in the jars, one at 79%. All will be opened up for about an hour a day until ready to jar down into half ozs. for storage. Final weights update when ready.
