What is the truth about NPK?

Hi all,

I am having a hard time figuring out what product to use and the NPK needed for my plants once they come out of the seedling stage and onwards.

Everywhere i look tells me something different and it is just getting confusing. I am hoping somebody can help?

Also, what do you think of these Fertilisers in the photos? The red bottle is Powerfeed and the other Charlies Carp which have been recommended locally at ACT Au.

You can use a product that has a ratio of 2-1-3 from start to finish. May I suggest looking into Mega Crop. You can even get a free sample (you pay shipping of about $5) that will complete a small grow.

I am in ACT Australia. I cannot get these products to my country it seems.

Also does a ratio of 4.2.6 mean the same thing? Curious.

Would any in the photo suit?

Yes, 4-2-6 maintains the same ratio as 2-1-3.

The products shown are heavier in N and less K. Try to find something that also supplies all the mirco nutrients too.

I went down there, the guy claimed to be a registered grower here and he was quite chatty. I told him my situation and he recommended i go for the Monsta Bud all throughout and claimed it will work well for soil. He claimed 30 years experience and gave me the bottles next to nothing. Wondering what you think?
