When watering & feeding avoid the leaves?

Hi all,

I have just transplanted my seedlings into their final pots. Going forward, when I water the plants, should I avoid getting the leaves wet? The same question applies when feeding (via water medium)?

The seedlings are in soil; not hydroponics.

Many thanks in advance!

It's advisable to avoid getting nutrient solution on the foliage. If you do get any on there, what I do is use my spray bottle to cleanes the leaves then I let them dry under the fan before they go back under direct light, to avoid droplet burns. Take a look at this very helpful link. The Proper Way to Water a Potted Plant
Hope that helps you some...
