White mites

Hey
I have these little white bugs that I think are some kind of mite but not sure. What they do is eat the fan leaves off at the stem. I haven't seen any webbing but I guess where the bug is the stem turns purple. Can anyone tell me what this bug is if not a mite. I have tried neem oil, aza max. I have not tried anything in the water yet. Any help would be great.....

Go to the grow room forum at the bottom of the listings is a forum on pests, read through until you find what it looks like. If you still cant find it, post some pics so we are not guessing in the dark. Of the plant and of the bug if you see one. also there are treatment suggestions in the forum as well.
