ViparSpectra XS1500 Review
The ViparSpectra XS1500 is an excellent 2'x2' grow light. It is well-built, easy to use, generates an excellent distribution of light, and has elite efficiency. The XS series feature Samsung LM301b diodes and a Mean Well driver with an almost unbelievable price. It is a great choice for 2'x2' grow spaces.
The ViparSpectra XS series is an upgrade to the popular P-Series fixtures. Both model lines are quantum board-style fixtures with ribbed aluminum heat sinks. They both feature a convenient dimmer on the side of the fixture.
Both the XS series and the P series are full spectrum LEDs with supplemental 660nm Red. However, the XS-series features upgraded chips and a driver. The Samsung LM301b diodes and the Mean Well driver allow the XS1500 to realize better efficiency and produce a superior PAR map to the P-1500.
