Xorbex's Pro-Mix Cali OG Kush x Haze 2019

March 30 - April 1

After the fresh drink they had there has been a decent growth spurt in increase of size on the first node leaves. Temps aren't as stable as I would like, heater is set to 79 with temps reaching 84 at times when the heater kicks in, and as low as 72 while waiting to kick in. Humidifier is set to high and needs filling twice daily but it keeps RH between 60 and 70 mainly around 70. So far the fan and humidifier are working fairly well. As temps warm up outside here the heater should not be needed for much longer as I know its messing with the humidity. Fingers crossed!

Will be picking up some cal-mag and possibly PH up and down in the next few days. Any recommendations?

For cal-mag I use Kelp4less's Organic Calcium Magnesium Plus. $15 (shipping included) got me enough to mix with a gallon of distilled water that is then used 1 teaspoon/gallon of water. I guess it's cheaper when you add your own water ;)
By-the-way, you are getting close to repotting time; those roots are going to start circling those cups in a day or two.

April 4 - 7

Watered on the 4th and the plants perked up pretty good.

The 6th was a big day. Noticed some algae starting to form on the clear cup due to the red cup not being a 100% tight fit. Instead of letting this grow anymore I decided to transplant. Plants lower leaves have started to yellow slightly. Up potted with 5.8PH 1gal spring/1tsp flora grow/1tsp cal-mag/1 tsp floralicious plus. PH and TDS were tested in the runoff and all 3 plants are 5.8-5.9 PH and all have a tds of 1500.

April 8 - 12

Growth increase each day since transplant has been the best since planting. Impressive to see the progress each day, it's becoming a game to see how long I cant wait in between filling the humidifier. The longer I wait the more growth I'll see :)

April 11 (Day 20 in soil)
Decided to top and LST as the plants had some time to recover from the up pot. Topped just above the 2nd node from the bottom and left all other growth. LST was performed only to bring the top two leaves down to the height of the ones below.

Great to see your grow going well! They grow really fast once they get going and once you flip to 12-12 you will be amazed.

Happy 420 :) Haven't been updating the journal because not much has happened. After the up pot and initial growth spurt everything slowed to a crawl. One little mistake that happened was that I topped of one node higher than intended, meaning I have 3 nodes (6 branches) to train.

April 13-18

Just general maintenance and adjustment of pegs for lst.

April 19

Decision has been made to transplant today as they finally need water. 28 days after planting they will goto final pot (5 gal buckets)

Yup they definitely needed a new pot....

After making up some nutes: 1tsp Cal-Mag, 1tsp FloraNova Grow and some ph down. Moistened soil with nutes @ 6.3 Ph then planted, trimmed leaves off lower nodes and resumed the lst. Heater is not needed anymore and temps are mid 70s with humidity hanging near the low 50s. Lights are at 12" and could probably go lower.

April 20

Plants look ok today and seems to have had a small spurt. Hard to tell but plants are reaching for the light and colors are still deep green.
