I am currently in week 4 day 3. Mh is 1000 watt on 75%. Ph is 6.0 temp is 75 and rh is 45. strain is northern lights and LSD. I wanted to know when should I think about topping them? I also wanted to do low stress training with them and wanted to know how I should go about that and when to start. As soon as they are big enough I want to take some clones. How long should i wait before taking my cuttings? Any advice is appreciated.

You have a nice grow going on there, they look very healthy. They are ready for topping now by the looks of things. Normally on the 3-5 node you can start! LST you can start now as well. As far as how, there are many ways. Check out "how to grow marijuana" under the heading GROW ROOM. In this section will find a ton of info on everything from training to watering to just about any question you might have! If you don't find it let me know and ill help you some more. Good luck my friend and keep us posted on your progress!

Water temp is good, thanks Buddro. Well, today I topped two and FIM'd two of the faster growing plants. From what I've read, it seems like now I should be expecting a slow two weeks till they heal. Should I be worried about bending my plants at all or making a screen for them to grow into? Here they are week 4.

This is my first go at training... is this what I am supposed to do? Basically, get light to shine on the lower growth. I also cleaned hydro system and added new nutes today.

Well coming to the end of week 4. The lights are on 100% now. I have topped all of them but two that I tried FIMming. Should I just continue to let them grow for a while or is there some kind of pruning or training I should be doing? They are getting pretty bushy with very big fan leaves. Overall they appear to be healthy.

y thing is going smoothly but I now have roots growing out of the bottom of the pots into the res. I think I may have to transplant my plants one more time into 5 gallon buckets. These pots do not seem big enough to sustain these plants whole life span. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have any experience with this type of grow but there are certainly healthy... I see you tried some LST and gave up on it? I will try to attach a nice picture of what a good LST plant looks like... You want to develop a star looking plant... What I'm saying is the topped cola's should be pulled away from the center to allow light below and keep your girls low profile and wide... With that set up I'm not so sure it will be much of an advantage? Can the pots be separated more? If height is not an issue I don't see the need to train too much, IMO. Anyway they look great so far. Keep up the good work... Perhaps you should start a Grow Journal if you haven't already? Good way to get some help from more experienced growers with that set up! Go under Grow Room and you will find some info on creating your own... Good luck, and great job so far.... Let's see if I can attach a picture? I know much more about growing than I do computers!!!

One of my main plants look like it was lacking something it's rockwool cube was bone dry and the top new growth is not as healthy of a green as it was before. Feeding was at 15 min every 6 hours, I'm thinking about changing it to every 3 or 4 hours. Or should I just let it go 24 hours a day? Any advice would be appreciated. For right now imma go with every 3 hours.

Well here is an update. Do you think I should be ready to flower soon or what. Also do u think the plants will be okay in these containers for thier whole lifespan and if not what should I do? I wanted to give the three smaller plants time to catch up with the bigger plants maybe another week or so.

Looking good Rasheedx....you can flower any time you want, usually the longer you go in veg the bigger the yield (bigger plant). When they go into flower, they will double or triple in size. Read up on Monster Cropping (for clones) & Super Cropping(for buds).

Buddro thank u. Do u think I can leave the plants in those pots, because I was not prepared to move them to bigger pots. The roots are going down into the res through one small hole on top of the res. The pots themselves have good drainage but I was thinking about drilling some more holes in the top of the res so the roots can find their wY into the water eAsier.

Damn last night when I topped off my res, I forgot to plug my pump back in and plants went about 12 hours with no water. One was drooped over real bad and a few others had some shrinking leaves and discoloration. Please tell me they are gonna be okay I watered them good and they are back on schedule. I turned the light back to 75 percent until I see improvement.
